Mackenzie was born and raised on Quadra Island and has been coming to Powell River since she was a child but moved here permanently in 2017. After graduating from Vancouver College of Massage Therapy in December of 2013, she moved to Ucluelet and ran her own practice for 3 years before moving to Powell River to fulfill a dream of owning land with her sweetheart Alex and starting a farm and family. When Mackenzie isn’t at work massaging you will likely find her wearing one of her many other hats, from farming, to running the operations of a farm, to arranging and delivering flowers or likely just running around after her toddler.

When Mackenzie first moved to the Sunshine Coast in 2017 she spent 3 years working in mental health, trauma and addiction and believes that without a relaxed body we will always hold onto that stress and tension that affects our lives. Her treatments will combine relaxation and therapeutic techniques to ensure you leave each appointment feeling like you’ve had the attention you needed but ultimately feeling relaxed. Some techniques used are Trigger Point Release, Deep Tissue Massage, Swedish massage, Cranio-Sacral Therapy and active/passive stretching. She has experiences treating chronic low back, neck and shoulder pain, headaches, Plantar fasciitis, TMJ, Sciatica, and pregnancy. Since having a baby Mackenzie has a new appreciation for pregnancy, and post-partum and looks forward to helping other women during this chapter of their lives. Mackenzie has been on maternity leave since March 2020 and is looking forward to seeing some familiar faces as she returns to work.

Mandy is a registered midwife and bodyworker with over 12 years of hands-on experience working with women through pregnancy, birth, and beyond.

My experiences as a midwife led me to studying manual therapy, specializing in fetal malposition and breech prenatal abdominal bodywork. These interests have since expanded to include posture, biomechanics, and functional movement to support the unique physiology of the female body.

From menarche to menopause and beyond, Womb Continuum care is an integrative, hands-on, hands-in approach to women’s healthcare. It is whole-body care in service to your pelvic health, fascial mobility, and organ + uterine alignment.

I use a combination of structural integration, myofascial, visceral, and cranio-sacral manual therapies to support the following: digestive issues, uterine misalignment, incontinence, prolapse, post-surgical healing, scar tissue, menstrual imbalances, endometriosis, pregnancy pain, and more.

I 100% believe in your body’s ability to heal any pelvic health concerns. Your tissues can radically change at any age and receive the nutrients they need for optimal function.

I was born and raised in Richmond, BC and Germany and have lived in Powell River since 2022. I’m in love with this area, my husband and my 2 children.
